We now have exciting permanent opportunities for motivated and suitably qualified Project Engineer to join our our Technical Communities based in the South West of England, and be a part of making valuable contributions to the mega-infrastructure, Nuclear New Build project at Hinkley Point C (HPC).
The RoleWorking on the Hinkley Point C project, this role is for a Project Engineer/Junior Project Manager to work in support of the Issues Resolution team. The Project Engineer will work closely with the technical design teams on all aspects of the Nuclear Island and will be able to plan and coordinate support and delivery.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor and record progress on deliverables, Produce Project Documentation including, Project Definition documents and progress reportsArranging, preparing for and reporting on project meetings and workshopsIdentification and management of project risksEnsure that we take full benefit of the multi-cultural and multi-experiential aspects of our engineering and technical teams.Production of project quality assurance documentation
Necessary Experience and Key AttributesAttention to detail, able to identify issues and formulate solutionsCommunication and Stakeholder ManagementUnderstanding of Project Controls and implementation including scheduling, estimating and Risk / Issues managementCompleter FinisherProject Reporting, monitoring of deliverable progress, able to produce clear and concise reportsDegree in an Engineering or Science discipline
