Location: AMRC North WestRoy Chadwick WaySamlesbury Enterprise ZoneMellor BrookBlackburnBB2 7HP Are you interested in driving forward world leading research in Additive Manufacturing using an array of impressive metallic AM processing equipment? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the rapidly expanding AMRC group as Project Engineer - Additive Manufacturing at the new AMRC North West facility on the Samlesbury Enterprise Zone near Blackburn. You will use your skills in engineering and/or a relevant science subject to provide project support to the team, helping to build the capability and reputation of the AMRC NW in the field of Additive Manufacturing. In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of both large and small research projects from concept to completion ensuring that projects are delivered to an exceptional standard. You will have experience within a practical ‘hands on’ work environment, ideally in Additive Manufacturing, however this is not essential as training will be provided. You will be working within the technical teams as well as interacting and working with our industrial partners. You will: Have a good grasp of engineering and/or scientific principles. Experience within a practical environment. (hands-on work), ideally in Additive Manufacturing. Be a strong communicator, both written and verbally. Be able to work to deadlines.
