Project Engineer
Salary: Up to £45,000 (Dependant on Experience)

They are actively recruiting a Project Engineer to join their high-performing Project Engineering Team. The Project Engineer forms the hub of the project, manages the engineering & customer facing activities, and is responsible for the successful completion of each contract.
This is mainly an office-based role, although some travel to Suppliers or Customer sites may be required from time to time, both nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Managing the engineering of the project, ensuring that all phases are carried out to meet the project schedule and budget.
- Coordinating the project team.
- Managing Customer communication.
- Leading the planned Project meetings such as Design & Constructability reviews, HAZOP, P&ID, GA, Process, Mechanical, E&I, and Control System meetings.
- Managing the implications of changes and ensuring the overall design integrity.
- Specification & procurement of equipment for incorporation into the package.
- Providing technical support & feedback to the Proposals team.
- Providing support to manufacturing.
- Participating in testing and inspections.
- Regularly reporting on key deliverables such as man-hours, bought-out items & completion dates.
- Ensuring that the design meets all required customer specifications, industry standards and codes.
- Generating project specific engineering procedures & documentation.
- Ensuring that all drawings & documents meet project requirements.
- Achieving project milestone dates to support cash flow.
- Supplier invoice approval.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering Degree.
- Demonstrable experience in a Project Engineering role – the ideal candidate would have a history of working on bespoke engineered packages for the Energy industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, technical and organisational skills.
