Jackson Hogg is delighted to be representing equipment manufacturer who specialise in electrical safety technology on their search for a Project Engineer.
Key responsibilities of a Project Engineer
- To ensure the smooth and accurate installation of equipment into our accounts and all post project documentation is completed
- Regular communication with both the internal and external sales team to ensure all technical aspects are captured across all schemes
- Attending site meetings as required to represent the company before, during and post project completion
- Evaluating, organising and prioritising work within the project schedule
- Supporting the Sales Team with technical advice and information by email, telephone or in person if a site visit is required
- Regular communication with the Head Office in Germany, first and second level support will be required.
- In addition constant technical communication with all parties in the supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard
- Understanding of the company CRM system essential
- Using the company CRM system to deliver projects to standard
- Producing technical drawings and information critical to the smooth running of projects
- Producing of RAMS essential to the site work
Experience required of a Project Engineer
- Electrical Trade qualifications is a must
- Knowledge of IS:10101 & BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- Knowledge of HTM guidelines would be advantageous
- Knowledge of medical clinical equipment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of UPS’s would be advantageous
- Experience of using Autocad drawing packages
- Experience in working with Design and/or Quality teams would be advantageous
- Team player attitude essential
