Job Title:Project Engineer Coordinator - Programme and Engineering Project Manager
Work Location: Banbury
Working Pattern: Initially to 5 days a week on site with flexibility once established in role. Flexible working hours.
Duration: 6 months +
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Up to £50.00 per hour Umbrella (Depending on experience)
Security Clearance: BPSS will be required.

In this role, you will work with the Engineering Manager in the planning, execution, reporting and project technical and schedule problem resolution. You will ensure the work packages are delivered in accordance with key milestone dates, customer deliverables and within budget. You will always be focused on exceeding the expectations of the customer and the organisation.
This role is critical to progressing the internal transition activities for our client undertaking a significant re-structure.
The position would suit applicants with a background or good understanding of Engineering Design and Development, coupled with excellent project coordination and / or Project management skills. Due to the nature of the position, a flexible "can do" attitude will be essential.
Key Responsibilities: Separation work packages activities which includes:-
- Reviewing all patents and intellectual property generated by the site and working with the contracts and legal teams to decide if there are any entanglements.
- Create a list and review current engineering best practices, policies, procedures, standard work and endorsed best practices. Decide which ones may not be transferred and build back any of these documents that may be lost.
- Understand from the contracts team what is stated on project contracts to check for any potential entanglements from an engineering IP and data point of view.
- Check with legal to understand if any IP will not be retained and work on the potential knock on actions that may arise.
- Double check that all proposed transfer service agreements (TSAs) cover all applications used by engineering.
- Create list of engineering suppliers, separate out contract and non-contract suppliers, confirm from contracts team that novation of identified engineering suppliers has been completed
- Support the engineering management in daily tasks of project and task control metrics
You will have experience of:
- Project Coordination or Project Management experience
- Stakeholder engagement including acting as a main point of contact for external business stakeholders
- Excellent at relationship building both internally & externally giving confidence in the organisation
- Working within a Project Engineering environment
In addition to this is would be desirable for you to have:
- Industry experience in a Design and Development environment
- Experience of engineering project management.
