Brook Street have the pleasure of working with a market leader in the food processing manufacturing industry. You will be supporting the technical department with all administration duties
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the food processing industry, an engineering background, be highly organised and a great communicator
Main Duties:
- Ensure that all information from the Sales order is clearly understood, and expected delivery requirements captured. Where necessary they should arrange a Sales Handover meeting.
- Kick off internal projects and produce all necessary documentation
- Identify all standard and non-standard equipment required, such as valves, pumps, motors, sensors, lifting equipment, and 3rd Party items. The Project Engineer will be responsible for specifying and obtaining quotes for non-standard items, and 3rd Party equipment, as well as producing valve schedules, and ensure that these parts are ordered in line with the project timeline.
- Ensure that the project is run in a financially aware manner, ensuring that design and procurement decisions are made in line the overall project budget.
- Organise the packing and shipping of equipment to the customer's site. This may involve international shipping, and customs documents.
- ensure that any necessary training is provided, and documentation (Manuals etc.) are handed over.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a process engineering environment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, steam services and fluid mechanics
- Experience with Autocad LT (2d equipment layout drawings)
- Commercial awareness
- UK Driving license
