Project Engineer
Salary Guide: to £55,000 pa

Join a leading manufacturer in Food Processing Equipment for the convenience/ready meals sector! We're seeking an exceptional Project Engineer to bolster the dynamic projects team.
Key Requirements:
- Strong engineering knowledge; familiarity with food industry processes is advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from order receipt to successful installation and handover.
- Establish clear communication with clients, internal teams, and ensure project details and time-lines are well understood.
- Responsible for project documentation, equipment specification, procurement, and financial tracking.
- Ensure project milestones are met, and any scope changes are effectively communicated and managed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Food Processing Industry.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, steam services, fluid mechanics, and basic electrical control systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT for generating 2D equipment layout drawings.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Commercial awareness for identifying project variations.
- Understanding of relevant Health and Safety legislation for industrial machinery.
- UK Driving Licence required.

Commutable from: Huntingdon, Bedford, Stevenage, St. Neots, Cambridge, Royston, Hitchin, Saffron Walden, Peterborough, Newmarket, Bishop's Stortford areas.
