Project Finance Controller Fixed Term Contract - Taw Valley

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented finance professional to join our team as a Project Finance Controller in Taw Valley.

How will you make an impact?
As a Project Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and controlling financial aspects of our prominent investment project at our Taw Valley site.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handle large amounts of data and transform them into understandable reports.
- Draw conclusions based on data aggregation.
- Deliver efficiently on standard financial tasks within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Contribute to the development and production of BG/BU/Project reporting by compiling data material and creating reports.
- Compile and aggregate data into understandable reports and analyses.
- Document procedures internally in the reporting entity.
- Ensure adherence to policies, accounting guidelines, and data quality standards.
- Create and apply ROIC, IRR, NPV models to investment initiatives.
- Manage small ad hoc finance and accounting projects with few stakeholders.
- Compile data for forecasting and planning purposes.
- Run standard reports from ERP systems to support analytical results and decision-making.
- Prepare presentations for the senior finance team and senior management.
- Have a good understanding of financial analytical models and tools.
- Apply relevant tools to various financial disciplines.
- Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles and their practical application.
What will make you successful?
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Controller with a proven track record in handling large amounts of data, creating reports, and drawing accurate conclusions. The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to efficiently deliver results within tight deadlines, while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Experience in financial reporting and analysis is essential, as well as proficiency in utilizing financial models such as ROIC, IRR, and NPV for investment evaluation. Familiarity with ERP systems and running standard reports is a must. Excellent presentation skills are required, as the candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating complex financial information. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with knowledge of financial analytical models and tools, are key attributes for success in this role. Additionally, a solid understanding of accounting principles and their practical application is required to excel in this position.
