Project Lead

This role can be undertaken remotely as long as you are able to travel as per needs of client.

Purpose of the Role
Working with a key client to deliver outstanding project success in a high profile supermarket chain -
through high quality fixtures, efficient installation, optimum compliance and after sales service.
Lead the large scale project in its entirety, taking complete ownership of supplier relationships and
costs, driving the project through the business with attention to detail, tenacity and passion.

Key Responsibilities
• Management and ownership of a single retail fixture client project
• Responsibilities to include planning and implementation to the highest quality, to deadline,
brief and budget
• Develop and maintain positive working relationship with all client personnel
• Work closely with both internal teams and external supply base taking ownership and
management of project tasks and actions
• Partner with internal teams to understand client goals and key performance metrics and
exceed those goals throughout projects
• Manage and review project critical paths to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
• Work closely with Account Director and Finance, reporting project spend, cost analysis,
invoicing, forecasting, meeting project financial objectives by forecasting requirements;
scheduling expenditures; cross checking supplier costs and initiating corrective actions if
required.
• Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels and operational excellence
• Where relevant, look to introduce initiatives to drive productivity and task efficiency
• Be able to understand and articulate ROI for continual analysis
• Keep management informed of the status of client project, problems, plans and meetings, as
well as involving Management personnel at key times
• Project status reporting and ongoing evaluation – proactively flagging challenges with
urgency and suggesting solutions
• Supplier liaison for costs, SLA’s, lead times, fabrication, construction methods and QC
• Client liaison on and off site for technical and production queries
• Production of O&M Manuals
• Completing and submitting all relevant Project H&S, Risk and Method Statements
• Management of installation schedules, and post-installation reporting
