Project Lead – Indigo Project Rotherham & Barnsley - Homeless Services

22.2 Hours per Week, Permanent

We are recruiting to a part-time Project Lead position at Indigo Rotherham & Barnsley, two of our Homeless Services.

The role of Project Lead is to manage a Project in Rotherham providing support, and housing management with the aim of reducing homelessness and social exclusion to extremely vulnerable and those customers with complex needs.  You will manage 3 Key Workers who offer intensive daily personalised support to 15 customers to develop the skills necessary to maximise their independence.

Crucially you should have a sound understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding and risk management.  Along with great interpersonal skills, and experience of stakeholder management.

  • Starting Salary: 4BC £31,276 per annum, pro rata - plus Essential car user allowance £94.36 per month and mileage expenses

More about the role:

As Project Lead you will be responsible for the day to day management of the service.  You will lead, coach and support a team of three Key Workers to undertake their roles effectively.  The Project Lead will have a good understanding of person centred, strength based support to achieve excellent outcomes for our customers. 

You will be responsible for managing the performance of the project to deliver a high quality service for customers against key performance indicators set by our Commissioners.

You will have a real commitment to managing a team to support our customers to achieve their aspirations, goals and help them maximise their full potential. The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, have great prioritising and organisational skills. The successful candidate would need to:

  • Demonstrate resilience.
  • Have a flexible approach to problem solving and be confident making decisions.
  • Sound understanding of professional boundaries, safeguarding and risk management.
  • Able to coach and support staff working in the community
