Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with at least five years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex studio build projects, from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of design, construction, and systems integration meet our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with designers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
- Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to the project plan and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work quality and progress.
- Financial Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Approve expenditures and manage invoicing and payments in collaboration with the finance team.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping to resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of project management experience in studio design, construction, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with trades, designers and specialist subcontractors
- Understanding of studio technology, including audio, video, lighting, and acoustic systems.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices and eco-friendly materials is a plus.
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
