Site/Project Manager
My client is an award-winning facilities company based in Warrenpoint, who are currently seeking a Site/Project Manager to join their team.
This is a Full-Time, 6 Month Contract with the potential to be extended.
Working hours: full time hours per week
With a salary from £50,000 - £51,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Role:
Leading a multidiscipline Design & Build team, you will be responsible for managing the design team performance, contractors in line with the contract and maintain oversight of all project activities – identifying any issues and ensuring they are resolved promptly.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 – 10 years' experience in the construction industry and similar environment of working in a Project Manager role.
- Recognised Construction Qualification (BSc/HNC/HND).
- Hold a third level qualification(s).
- Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving License
Desirable Criteria:
- Extensive knowledge of Sor codes and items required.
- Have excellent numerical skills.
- Demonstrate NEC forms of contract experience.
- Demonstrate experience working with Contract Management Platforms
- Delivery of Projects for Public Sector Clients.
- Significant experience in the management of projects which included Design.
- Supervision of internal team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly site audits.
- Regular review meetings with contractors.
- Communicate to site managers/supervisors and sub-contractors.
- Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements.
- Ensure a high level of service is delivered to the customer.
- Ensure general housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
- Carry out practical completion/pre snag audits.
- Manage and control costs.
- Maintain regular, consistent, professional relationships at all times with clients, subcontractors, and internal personnel.
- Follow and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Manage, coordinate, and prioritise workload to ensure delivery of service to a high qualitive level for clients and stakeholders in line with agreed programmes/deadlines.
- Monitoring consultant and contractor performance including payment authorisation in accordance with the delegated authority guide.
- Preparation of cashflow forecasts.
- Implementing and monitoring relevant project control and administration systems.
- Reporting project progress and risks to client and management.
- Preparing site assessments, due diligence reports, cost reports, project control reports, construction reports and completion reports.
- Managing design development, co-ordination, reviews and approvals during planning and construction phases.
- Following and fully complying with the client’s end-to-end project management process.
- Supervising contractors in scheduling and monitoring project work and inspection upon completion.
- Preparing monthly project review reports.
- Any other Ad hoc duties.
