Job Role
New Damp & Mould Project Manager to join an existing Damp and Mould Task Force to respond swiftly and effectively to reports of damp and mould in its homes. Experienced Senior Surveyor a skilled and experienced manager to establish and lead the Task Force overseeing a team of surveyors, supported by a Business Support Officer.
Ideally you will have experience of managing in a local authority housing setting, and will have a good understanding of the challenges facing social landlords in responding effectively to instances of damp and mould. An asset/property maintenance background would also be helpful, but not essential. The post will report into the Assistant Director of Housing Repairs & Planned Works.
To be able to produce monthly reports, analysis of data to advise of trends, be the lead with arranging training in damp and mould as well as working alongside other London Boroughs piloting damp & mould software/ devices. Case management , with engagement with resident and Cllrs, ensuring that they are kept up to date on next steps, through to completion of works. Working collaboratively with the Head of Building Works, meeting weekly to discuss cases alongside weekly meetings with the contractor.
