A very reputable Tier 1 main contractor with solid values and great delivery, this contractor has delivered on some of the UK's most prestigious projects.
The Role:
Experienced Project Manager required to take the lead in managing the construction of a £40 million hospital project, you will lead your team holding responsibility for design development, construction methodology and programming of works, the smooth and timely progress of construction on site, safety and quality, plus budgetary control of the project through to final handover.
Responsibilities:
- Implement detailed programmes and schedules
- Oversee the project budget
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets specified requirements and standards
- Be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Manage contract negotiations, agreements and procurement processes with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
- Navigate working in a live hospital
About you:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering construction projects in excess of £20 million
- Successfully delivered projects within NHS framework or live hospitals
- Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of construction management principles
- Sharp eye for detail and finishes
- Excellent stakeholder management
