MES is proud to be a key partner on the UKPNED1SON Alliance & SSEN Framework Contract,delivering substation build and refurbishment works across theEast of England including design, project management, on site cableinstallation, building construction, jointing, switchgearinstallation, bunding, commissioning, decommissioning anddemolition.
As a Project Manageryour duties & responsibilities willinclude:
- Project managementexperience of multiple sites in the High Voltage Electricalsector.
- NEC ContractExperience.
- Experience of working and managing personson the 11kV to 132kV High Voltage Distributionnetwork.
- Experience of managing and installingswitchgear and equipment in the Primary and Gridenvironment.
- Knowledge of the CDM regulations and actingas Principal Contractor. Qualified to HNC /Degree Level in Electrical Engineering.
- SMSTS (SiteManagers Safety Training Scheme-CITB).
- Effectivecommunication skills. Knowledge ofbudgeting, estimating and cost valuereconciliation.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge ofcontract documents and specifications.
- Knowledge ofcurrent legislation relating to Health, Safety andEnvironment.
- A full driving license and willingness totravel
