Morrison EnergyServices are currently looking torecruit HVexperienced ProjectManagers to work onour UK PowerNetworks & SSEN Contractsin Stevenage .

Asa ProjectManager you'll beresponsible for coordinating and managing people, plant, materials,budget, programme, quality assurance, contract requirements, andhealth & Safety of employees and generalpublic.

MES is proud to be akey partner on the UKPN ED1SON Alliance & SSEN FrameworkContract, delivering substation build and refurbishment worksacross the East of England including design, project management, onsite cable installation, building construction, jointing,switchgear installation, bunding, commissioning, decommissioningand demolition.

As a Project Manager yourduties & responsibilities willinclude:

Day to daymanagement of site staff and issues arising fromsites.

Developmentand implementation of Safety documentation including Health andSafety Plans, Method Statements and RiskAssessments.

Monitorperformance of site staff with respect to Health and Safety,Quality and Environment.

Fulfilling the role of Temporary Works Coordinator whererequired.

Ensure fullcompliance on projects with all Morrison procedures and currentlegislation.

Client liaisonincluding arranging progress meetings, pre-start meetings andclient audits.

Identify andresolve design issues raised on site.

Planning and programming of current andfuture works.

Involvementwith Cost Value Reconciliation.

Subcontractor procurement andmonitoring.

Ensure H&S Files are produced as perprogramme

Skills& Knowledge Requirements:

• Projectmanagement experience of multiple sites in the High VoltageElectrical sector.
NEC Contract Experience. Experience of working and managing persons on the 11kVto 132kV High Voltage Distribution network.
• Experience of managing and installingswitchgear and equipment in the Primary and Gridenvironment.
• Knowledge ofthe CDM regulations and acting as PrincipalContractor.
• Qualified toHNC / Degree Level in ElectricalEngineering.
• SMSTS (SiteManagers Safety Training Scheme-CITB).
• UK Power Networks Sub StationEntry.
• Effectivecommunication skills.
Knowledge of budgeting, estimating and cost valuereconciliation.
• Computerliterate.
• Knowledge ofcontract documents and specifications.
• Knowledge of current legislation relatingto Health, Safety and Environment.
A full Driving Licence andwillingness to travel.
