Project Manager - Brighton
Are you looking for a very exciting opportunity in Brighton as a Project Manager? This new contract is starting in April 2024. This client is looking for a candidate who has experience working in the civils industry such as railways and infrastructure. This contract is for a very respected tier 1 contractor who is starting doing projects in the Brighton area. This is a freelance contract.
Day Rate (CIRCA) - GBP380.00 - GBP420.00
Duration - Ongoing
Location - Brighton
Duties will include:
- Manage and supervise the site workforce of a range of disciplines
- Prepare estimates and quotations
- Managing programme of work and issuing reports
- Motivating the team to complete projects on schedule
- Ensuring RAMS are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated continuously
- Running health and safety audits as well as developed the HASEMP scheme (Health, Safety, Environmental Management Plan)
- Ensuring that the site team complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring the quality of their work
- Procurement of materials needed and subcontractors
- Direct labour resource
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders across the supply chain to ensure that all aspects of the project proceed as planned
- Liaising with the Commercial team to forecast project costs and ensure everything is within budget
- Maintaining equipment and manage paperwork
Requirements:
- 5 years of Civils experience
- CMCS/EUSR
- SMSTS
- Working knowledge of the NEC contract conditions
- Several years' experience in Site Management
- Ambitious and dynamic personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team
- First Aid
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence
