About the Role
Do you have an interest in practice improvement within a Local Authority Children’s Social Care setting and or similar relevant organisational setting? Enjoy partnership working to maximise positive impact on the lives of children? Do you enjoy a challenge and want to support identifying practice improvement and keen to help others manage change for the better? Do you adopt a strengths-based approach, which is complimented by your strong analytical skills and good understanding of data and research and practice guidance.
Bexley is proud to be a learning authority and we want a Project and Improvement lead to be based in our Professional Standards and Quality Assurance Team to help us continue in our journey of ongoing improvements and to help us with inspection readiness, new projects and practice development. You will be based in a supportive and innovative team and we look forward to hearing from you.

Candidate Profile
Are you a keen strategic team player with an interest in supporting practitioners and senior leadership to deliver good quality services and who work hard to improve the lives of children and families who need help and support?
Do you have a strong understanding of safeguarding and a vision of what ‘good’ looks like in the context of child protection and service delivery.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
