My client is a Commercial Fit Out Contractor looking for a Project Manager, project based in Central London
You will have the important role of owning the project from adjudication to completion along with providing the Construction Manager with the support needed to build the project and Client experience of working with them.
Responsibilities
- attend pre-kick-off meeting with Technical Director
- Attend kick off meeting with internal project team
- Review the buildability of the project and liaise with the Technical Director (detailing and drawing review)
- Attend project handovers and adjudications
- Produce all Health and Safety duties prior to the start
- Liaise with statutory authorities to achieve project sign off
- Review system programmers' methodology of works and produce programme as per company standard
- Agree the orders to be placed with the Commercial Manger against the procurement schedule and ensure commercial orders are done immediately after adjudications for the whole job
- Review works packages and contractor orders to ensure the scope is complete and fulfilled with Commercial Manger
- Support Construction Managers through the construction process to ensure the complete delivery process is achieved
- With the Construction Manager review sub-contractors' resources on site daily in line with labour programme and ensure they are complying with previous requirements against orders
- Ensure Procore is kept up to date with the latest information for the Construction Manager
- Attend Client start up meetings
- Provide weekly project reports as per the standard template, add weekly report to Procore
- Chair weekly Client meetings
- Maintain and improve the delivery of projects - quality / programme / site standards Job Description
- Ensure Operating and Maintenance manuals are complete for Handover
- Ensure holiday coverage is provided to Construction Manager
- Comply with all company policies and procedures that relate to anti-bribery, quality, environment and health and safety
- Stay informed about major environmental or legislative changes in the services industry and share relevant information with the construction team.

Skills/Experience Required
- 5yrs+ D&B Construction experience on projects up to £20m
- CSCS manager's card, First aid, SMSTS, Working At Height
- ASTA, Procore
- Commercial awareness
- IOSH
- JCT awareness
- HND / Degree qualified
