Role Details - Project Manager (Digital)
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a high-profile technology project for a renowned client based in London on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
* Proven experience of personal responsibility for successfully managing technology and data projects up to a value of £10M in a large, complex, and regulated organisation with multiple interfaces and delivering to time, budget, and quality.
* Managing multiple stakeholders and audience at all levels.
* Management of complex data centric projects. Including data modelling
What you will be doing?
The Project Manager will deliver technology and data change through one or more projects or workstreams as assigned by the Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager, up to a value of c£10m, to the required standards of governance and control.
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the projects and/or workstreams to the required quality, on time and within budget, through a strategic blend of in-house capability and external contracts and frameworks and by gaining commitment to resource assignments from the T&D delivery functions.
What skills you will need?
* Expertise in project management discipline, with knowledge and experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
* End to end project delivery expertise in both technology and business based execution.
* Understanding and detailed experience of test principles and user acceptance testing.
* Understands the rationale and importance of RAID based controls and co-ordination. Focusing on proactive mitigations and identifying remedial actions and holding team/stakeholder colleagues to account.
* Matrix management of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective end-to-end performance, coaching individuals within your team to meet or exceed those levels of performance, and an understanding of resource demand management/forecasting.
* Proficient in budget management, accurate financial forecasting and variance tracking.?
