Address We are looking for a Project Manager in the banks Foundation to manage our Education and Early Childhood programs globally with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, reporting to the Head of Programs and Impact Transparency, based in Switzerland or UK.

You Will:
- Be responsible for a portfolio of projects globally with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, engaging directly with implementers and stakeholders, such as co-founders.
- Work closely with the Education, Programs, and Operations teams at the banks foundation to ensure maximum impact and smooth operations. This will include planning activities and prioritizing strategic issues; budget planning; program reporting; preparing pipeline and grant making documents.
- Support the Education Program team in further program development in the region.
- Work closely with the Foundation’s social finance team and Social Impact team across the different regions to identify and establish partnerships with philanthropists interested in and/or working in the Education sector
- Partner with philanthropy advisors to provide expertise and advice in the area of Education and Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs and priorities of the team and its staff members
Your experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project and stakeholder management in the development sector, with preferably a focus on Education and Early Childhood Development.
- Grant-making experience, good understanding of innovations and best practices in grant-making.
- Experience in social investing is a plus.

- A proactive and well-organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects at once and get things done.
- Able to work under pressure, handling complex situations and relationships, delivering against tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high attention to detail, proactively engaging with colleagues, and sharing your knowledge and experience.
- Comfortable working in a flexible environment, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and dealing with uncertainty and change
