We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead our dynamic team on a range of exciting projects. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning sessions to determine the scope, objectives, and procedures for accomplishing projects.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and adjust as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation setting.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Manage project budget, including invoicing and cost tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven working experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in the electrical industry.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in electrical engineering or project management.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
