Job Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills and a strong background in project management within the fit-out industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Team Management: Lead and manage on-site teams, ensuring clear communication, effective task delegation, and high levels of productivity.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Quality Control: Implement stringent quality control measures to ensure all work meets the company’s standards and client expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes in requirements.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial summaries, and post-project evaluations.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the fit-out industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management, project management, or a related field.
