What does a day look like for you here?
Working on home-based basis, you'll be part of a large, friendly Projects team that consists of other Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Portfolio Managers. In this key role, you will utilise your Project Management expertise to oversee the delivery of multiple projects, with moderate complexity, usually centred around products from a single tower. Working with detailed project plans, you will efficiently implement our approved solutions for our valued customers, in line with quality standards and budgets.
You will create and maintain detailed project plans, identify key players to assist you and be the go-to person for both our customers and the wider Projects team. You'll also monitor the project's finances, making sure costs stay in line with the budget and manage any issues that may arise throughout the process. There will be instances where you will also need to act as the point of escalation to resolve issues and provide pre-sales support for certain projects.
Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle will also be essential. You’ll do this by keeping our customers well informed throughout each stage and taking a proactive approach to project management.

So, what are we looking for?
Back to that ambition of ours. We want to be the UK’s go-to managed service provider. That’s where you come in. Ideally, you will have previous project management experience within the ICT industry with knowledge of either Cloud, Connectivity or Communications workstreams.
It’s not just experience, you’ll also need to be passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience to continue to delight our customers. On average, you will be managing 10 to 20 projects simultaneously, so being highly organised is also essential. A strong level of governance is also required as you will be chairing regular meetings to keep our customers updated throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
You should also have:
- Experience of using Microsoft Project or Excel for project management.
- Understanding of P&L’s as and basic knowledge of sales and billing cycles/process.
- Excellent understanding of Risk and Issue management.
