Project Manager - Financial Services Industry
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the Insurance industry? Our client, a leading player in the sector, is seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join their pivotal project management team.
Key Responsibilities:
Scoping, Planning & Scheduling:
- Ensure clear definition of project scope and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery within agreed timescales.
- Coordinate activities and resources, capturing actual costs and re-planning as necessary.
Business Benefit & Financial Management:
- Contribute to valid Business Cases for all projects.
- Monitor and maintain project financials, ensuring delivery within approved budgets.
Delivery, Communication & Resource Management:
- Proactively manage issues, ensuring the project remains on schedule and budget.
- Maintain quality standards for deliverables through effective change and configuration management.
- Provide regular and effective communication within and external to the project team.
Risk Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and document risks to project delivery.
- Develop action plans and associated budgets to prevent or mitigate risks.
Stakeholder & Supplier Management:
- Prioritise and manage key stakeholder relationships, communicating clearly throughout the project life cycle.
- Commercially manage third-party suppliers, ensuring quality delivery within budget and schedule.
Governance:
- Deliver standard artefacts as defined by the project management methodology.
- Provide timely management reporting via Project Status Reports and summaries.
- Ensure project information, plans, and documentation are up to date and stored securely.
