We are currently embarking on an exciting new project to develop a state-of-the-art retirement village in Chester. This project aims to provide a comfortable, safe, and vibrant living environment for retirees, incorporating the latest in residential design and amenities.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager on a freelance basis to lead and oversee the construction of our retirement village project in Chester. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the retirement village development, ensuring it meets all quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Coordinate and manage all project activities, including site preparation, construction, and finishing works.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
