Project Manager - Moj Prisons

A large FM and Maintenance contractor who runs a contract for the Ministry of Justice to maintain Uk Prisons has an exciting opportunity,
For an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This is a temporary role for 3-6 months on a rolling contract.
The role requires security clearance to EL1 within HM prison service.
The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to cover the East Midlands region of HMP Prison Maintenance projects.
This will cover areas of Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, and Leicestershire.
As a Project Manager, you play an important part for delivering projects in a safe and risk-free environment.
This includes management of safety, CDM, issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
You will be responsible for:
1. Meeting with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
2. Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.
3. Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members and supply chain.
4. Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
5. Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
6. Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation.
7. Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
About you
You will be an experienced construction Project Manager with a construction environment and/or experience of working within a refurbishment and small works construction background.
* Trade/ degree or equivalent qualification in suitable construction/ management or Engineering discipline
* IOSH/ Nebosh and SMSTS
* CDM knowledge
APM Level 4 Project Manager OR PRINCE2 Practitioner is preferred
