Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing creative campaigns from creative origination/conceptual design stage to production and sourcing across Point-of-sale (POS) and Digital for our clients. Working alongside our creative team of Art, Creative and Strategic Directors, the SPM will have a strong and broad understanding of omni-channel retail and shopper marketing and able to guide, advise our clients on best practice, innovative strategies and trends and where appropriate shape and provide input into the creative process.


You will need to have extensive knowledge of instore POS and E-commerce from a creative, production and sourcing perspective and be able to oversee and drive projects of the highest standard across multiple channels. You should have strong presentation skills and be able to persuasively articulate your ideas to internal and client teams. Proven ability in quality control processes, covering content verification, brand adherence, colour reproduction, spelling, punctuation and grammar errors is essential.


Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ project management experience across POS and E-comm creative conceptual work and creative production (video experience a bonus)
  • Strong and broad understanding of omni-channel retail and shopper marketing with technical print insights and cardboard / packaging knowledge; including colour and artwork management
  • Strong understanding of technical production methodologies for POS and retail marketing
  • Strong understanding of POS sourcing and production processes
  • Experience working to demanding KPIs, SLAs and has good insights in production and procurement processes
  • Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
  • Works as a strong team player
  • Strong interpersonal/communication and problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active and able to take ownership of their tasks and drive them
  • Strong client facing and presentation skills
  • Committed to high-quality output and service, with an eye for detail
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately
  • IT literate (Outlook, Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Project – able to create and amend timelines, is a bonus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize activities daily to accomplish project goals
  • Ability to generate and maintain budgets and schedules
  • Ability to build effective working relationships (client, colleagues and suppliers)

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Day-to-day responsibility for leading and managing projects
  • Leveraging Shopper knowledge to build and shape proposals and estimates alongside the creative and strategic leads
  • Managing project budgets and complex project timelines (Microsoft Project)
  • Complex stakeholder management with ability to manage multiple internal, client and third-party stakeholders throughout the project process
  • Briefing creative conceptual requirements into Art & Creative Directors, Designers and Copywriters
  • Briefing production requirements into our studio and production teams
  • Briefing campaign headlines and CTAs for transcreation/translation to an external agency partner
  • Update the client regularly throughout the project, maintaining status reports, timing plans and cost control
  • To use internal and client tools to manage all elements of the project workflow and process. To keep the system updated with specifications, status and costs as required.
  • Ensuring all output, incl. brand and print consistency, meets client requirements, has been through QC and is approved before release to the client
  • Ensuring that confidentiality and security is maintained throughout project cycle
  • Constantly review and revise procedures and processes to ensure the most efficient means of working
  • Seek out industry developments and product innovations to drive innovation and cost saving initiatives
  • Challenge current ways of working/processes to work more efficiently and effectively
  • To be pro-active and anticipate and rectify issues working with the teams within the business


Financial Management

  • Project estimation, cost budget management and invoicing
  • Ensuring all costs in internal systems are correct and up-to-date
  • Ensuring Purchase Orders are received before commencing work as per best practice


Client Development

  • Manage client expectations in relation to project objectives, timelines and budgets
  • Develop an understanding of the full end-to-end campaign process and the client brand
  • To develop strong client relationships within the client base
  • Confidently lead client calls with senior client and agency stakeholders


Technology

  • Be an advocate internal or client tools and systems, manage all elements of the client processes as agreed. To keep the system updated with specifications, status and costs as required.


Measures of Performance:

  • Ensure all projects are completed to a very high standard of quality - right first time
  • Ensure all projects are completed within deadline to deliver to client on time and within budget
  • Ensuring client service level agreements are met (i.e. response times, turnaround times)
