Project Manager – Assessment Misconduct

We have Partnered with a London Based University who are looking for a Project Manager to join them on a 2 month contract to deliver new assessment misconduct software.
About the Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Projects Manager to lead initiatives focused on assessment misconduct. This position involves shaping and implementing strategies to maintain the integrity and fairness of assessment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement a comprehensive approach to using Turnitin Authorship for detecting assessment misconduct.
- Conduct sampling of academic work and provide insights and advice to academic staff on potential misconduct cases.
- Develop and refine a methodology for sampling work through Turnitin Authorship.
- Identify and address training needs for staff involved in the sampling process.
- Establish reporting protocols for cases identified through sampling.
- Prepare a business case for a permanent resource dedicated to sampling assignments.
- Manage specific projects, converting plans into actionable tasks, and demonstrating flexibility in work arrangements, including hours.
- Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role's grade.

Person Specification:
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects within deadlines, achieving measurable impacts.
- Knowledge of key research policies and best practices related to assessment misconduct detection in UK higher education.
- Familiarity with Turnitin and other plagiarism prevention tools.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience supporting students through relevant programs.
- Background in higher education or project management.
- Competence in progress reporting and using project management tools.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively through various formats.
- Ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data evaluation and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification.
- Project Management Accreditation (e.g., PRINCE2) or relevant experience.
