Responsibilities

The Opportunity

PepsiCo Global Research and development is executing a multi-year digitization effort to transform its operations. To support this transformation, the Global R&D Information Technology group is enhancing its capacity to support operations, business analysis, and the creation of new capabilities in alignment with our Dev/Sec/Ops service model.

This role will be a key member of the team responsible for managing our current portfolio, understanding the business processes it supports, and participating in re-imagining our technology landscape to simplify the portfolio and achieve R&D digitization goals. The Project Manager will focus on implementing critical projects related to application modernization

Your Impact

As a Project Manager your scope would consist of:

  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
    • Coordinate and lead project meetings, setting agendas and documenting action items.
  • Resource Management:
    • Allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, budget) to ensure project success.
    • Ensure team members have clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
    • Develop contingency plans and implement necessary actions to minimize project risks.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to the company's quality standards.
    • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future projects.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets.
    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience leading global and complex projects.
  • Proven track record of managing projects successfully from start to finish.

 Skills

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Miro, etc).
