Job Title: Project Manager – Energy

Location: Scotland

About Us: We are a leading specialist provider of overhead line and sub-station services in the UK, delivering construction and refurbishment projects up to 400kV. With several significant project wins and a promising order book for 2024, we are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team in Scotland.

Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with our plan. You will be responsible for managing both standard and complex projects, ensuring profitability and timely delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Collaboration and fostering a positive working environment are paramount in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting in the winning of projects according to the plan.
  • Overall accountability for the profit and loss of standard and complex projects.
  • Ensuring project delivery adheres to timelines and quality standards.
  • Cultivating a collaborative working environment conducive to project success.

Skills and Experience: We are looking for candidates with:

  • Previous management-level experience.
  • Experience managing overhead line, cabling, or substation schemes up to 400kV.
  • Demonstrated success in tendering and managing standard, complex, or major projects, including subcontractor management.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Commercial acumen with proficiency in budgetary and financial control.
  • Ability to navigate conflicting interests and develop solutions to complex operational and commercial challenges.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward solutions.
