My client a top company is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for Records Management & Compliance to join its team on a contract basis. This role will be predominantly remote with travel required for workshops or meetings. Please note that this contract is inside of IR35 and will have to be set-up as Umbrella/PAYE.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end Records Management projects, emphasizing file remediation, data storage, and Compliance adherence.
- Develop and implement efficient strategies for organizing, classifying, and maintaining records, ensuring optimal data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines, aligning with organizational goals and Compliance standards.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing data systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance Records Management efficiency.
- Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners to leverage cutting-edge solutions for secure data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, providing guidance on data protection, privacy, and retention policies.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns to ensure project success.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for team members and end-users to promote best practices in Records Management and Compliance.
- Proactively identify risks and challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to prevent potential roadblocks and delays.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of Records Management initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on Records Management, file remediation, data storage, and Compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Records Management and data compliance.
- Analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data systems and propose effective solutions for optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
