On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Project Manager -Sanctions Horizon Risk Managementon an initial 6 Month Contract, based on a hybrid working model of 2 days per week from the banks Canary Wharf Offices and the rest working from home, on a PAYE day rate engagement.

The Sanctions & Embargoes Regulation and Policy team, where this role will sit, plays a vital role in Deutsche Bank's Sanctions & Embargoes compliance framework.
Details of the role and how it fits into the team
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) division. This role will work dynamically and flexibly within the Global Sanctions & Embargoes team on key deliverables to support business driven change and the closure of regulatory commitments in the Sanctions & Embargoes Transformation (SET) Plan. The ideal applicant will have good knowledge of Sanctions & Embargoes gained in a peer institution and will be required to work a diverse set of deliverables at any given time spanning multiple stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting an S&E Horizon Risk Management project in all tasks, including:
- Pro-active management of project activities
- Facilitation of meetings, including preparation of materials
- Development and maintenance of project documentation
- Development and communication of information across project working groups, business divisions and S&E
- Creation of training material, delivery and associated administration
- Implementation of revised/new processes
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of work undertaken and ensuring that work is compliant with DB and AFC project governance standards
- Gathering evidence to support the tracking/closure of project activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant experience in the financial services industry within Anti-Financial Crime (ideally Sanctions)
- Excellent communication skills especially in stakeholder engagement
- A good eye for detail when writing/reviewing documentation
- Experience in sourcing information from stakeholder groups, as well as consolidating information for presentation
- Competent presenting to senior management on a wide range of AFC risk related matters
- Able to balance competing priorities and deliver according to strict time and quality standards
- Ability to identify, prioritise and structure essential information and present it in the context of presentation documents (strong knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, etc
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable working with senior stakeholders across multi jurisdictions.
- Detail oriented, organized and proactive at following up pending deliverables
- Able to quickly build and maintain effective credible working relationships
