Our client is seeking a Project Manager – SATCOM, to play a pivotal role to lead and manage a government project, ensuring assigned project work is delivered on time and to high-quality standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.  
Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager – SATCOM:
- Be responsible for producing and managing delivery plans and associated budgets.
- Maintaining meticulous project documentation, including resource allocation, utilization, risks, and progress reports.
- Keeping stakeholders informed through clear and concise communication.
- Managing suppliers and contractors effectively to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Proactively identifying and resolving project challenges with strategic problem-solving skills.
 
Key Skills & Experience for the Project Manager – SATCOM:
- You have a strong educational background in computer science or engineering.
- You possess proven experience successfully delivering projects using PMBoK® or PRINCE2® methodologies.
- You are experienced in forecasting and budget management.
- Experience in creating Project Management Plans for bids and tenders.
- You have procurement and supply chain experience.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office to include Excel, Word & Project.
- Must hold and maintain Australian citizenship and either already have or have the ability to qualify for Australian Defence baseline clearance is essential.
- Must have a current Australian driver’s license and passport.
