Project Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Mechanical and Electrical Team based in Oxfordshire

Location: Oxfordshire, Mixture of Site, Remote and office working

Contract: Permanent – Full Time, 45 Hours a week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Mechanical and Electrical Team, supporting them managing the commercial resources of the assigned project to maximise planned gross margin through the placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.

Your day to day will include:

• Comply with the procurement strategy set out from the beginning of the project.
• Valuation and measuring of change.
• Advising on legal and contractual matters on orders and change
• Valuation of project and subcontract progress.
• Undertaking procurement activities including subcontract enquires, tender reviews and order production.

What are we looking for?

This role of Project Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• Qualified, at degree level or HND/HNC (or similar) in Quantity Surveying or suitable experience.
• Hold SMSTS / CSCS card and maintain renewals.
• Experienced surveyor in delivering multiple small schemes or medium Schemes.
• Clear understanding of all main forms of contract JCT, NEC etc
