Hunter Mason's client specialises in Building, Renovation and Development projects for both residential and commercial sectors.
As a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor you will be joining our client within the sub-contractor market. The successful candidate will be part of a growing and successful team.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyse cost estimates for construction projects- Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost control strategies- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors- Provide advice on cost management and value engineering- Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for projects- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
Requirements:
- 3+ Years in either Construction Project Management or Quantity Surveying- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs- Proficient in using cost estimating software and tools- Excellent analytical and numerical skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Effective communication and negotiation skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
