We are currently recruiting for a Project Services Co-ordinator for our client Scottish Power Renewables on a contract basis based in Glasgow.
Main Purpose of Job
The Project Services Coordinator is responsible for providing a high quality, consistent service across Onshore Development team and Land & Estates team of ScottishPower Renewables (SPR).
This role involves supporting in the execution of inter-departmental governance and supporting processes, liaising and co-ordinating with teams to drive effective working practises. It will include identifying and lead improvement workstreams, as well providing support services for Onshore Renewables projects in relation to Land Management.
Accountabilities
•Deliver support services for renewables projects in relation to Land Management, to meet the requirements of the Onshore Renewables business.
•Supporting with the facilitation of inter-departmental Governance meetings, ensuring data and information driving decision making is captured, controlled, and reported in advance
•Ensure that land governance processes are mapped, documented, and followed.
•Lead on key improvement workstreams, conducting analysis and collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to implement change driving efficiency and effectiveness.
•Contribute to the identification, analysis and management of risks and issues and identify their impacts on projects
•Lead issues of a process or programme nature that require escalation to a more senior level.
•Manage and analyse reporting activities across Land Activity between Onshore Development team & Land and Estates, identifying improvements.
•Develop QA procedures
•Build, maintain and retain effective stakeholder relationships
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
•Degree qualification preferred but minimum qualification to HND level.
•Training / qualification in project management preferred.
•Experience and understanding of data analysis/management for reporting and auditing.
•Some relevant project / management support-based experience within selected discipline and/or direct experience of working within a project environment.
•Experience and understanding of technical due diligence.
•Experience of renewables / power generation industry preferred.
•Strong organisational and administrative skills
•Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy of work.
•Tenacity and determination to succeed.
•Good interpersonal skills, engaging confidently at all levels internally and externally.
•Experience of Business Intelligence reporting model (eg Power BI preferred).
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
Special Requirements/Personal Qualities (not mandatory)
Criteria Essential/Desirable
•Experience supporting multiple projects / workstreams
•Be comfortable dealing with and presenting to management
•Working knowledge of SAP
•Degree qualification preferred but minimum qualification to HND level.
•Training / qualification in project management preferred.
•Project based experience within selected discipline and/or direct experience of working within a project environment.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
