Project Structural Engineer
NCS are recruiting for a Project Structural Engineer to join an established client in Leeds that due to expanding work load are looking to expand their team. 
This company provide the highest quality Civil & structural services across most market sectors. The ideal candidate for this role will have a few years experience within a similar position and is looking to expand on their already varied portfolio. 

You must be well versed in design in all structural materials and experienced in computer analysis, in doing so you will be required to take an active role in project delivery and as part of a project team, where you will be co-ordinating the work of graduates and technicians.
 

Requirements;
- Working towards Chartered or Incorporated status

- Good communication skills

- Software experience in;

• TEDDS,
• Tekla,
• Fastrack Portal Frame,
• CADS Wall Panel,
• P Frame,
• MasterSeries Retaining Wall would be desirable. 

- Ability to assist in the delivery of projects through to completion & work within a multi-disciplinary team. 
 

Key Roles & Responsibilities;

- Viewing sites and attending site meetings

- Involvement in internal and project design meetings

- Attend external design meetings

- Prepare correspondence and reports

- Responsible for working within a team of engineers & technicians in the delivery of civils and Structural Engineering projects

- Co-ordinating the delivery of structures, drainage, and highways elements of the projects

- Responsible for the analysis & design of overall building structures using Design/Analysis software. 

- Assisting in the coordination of CAD/Revit technicians, ensuring that appropriate level of design information is included on production. 

Knowledge;

- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

- Must be IT literate with some or all of the structural design software packages listed above
