Base: Sustrans offices in Edinburgh or Glasgow with the flexibility to work from home, or home-based within reasonable travelling distance from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans Scotland team to provide efficient project/Programme Management across the Design, Engineering and Assurance projects within the National Cycle Network programme in Scotland
As the Project Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Design, Engineering and Assurance (DE&A) and the team in plan definition, project and programme tracking, monitoring and reporting in line with the Sustrans delivery framework throughout the project lifecycle..
Duties for the role could include, supporting the work of the team by implementing systems and processes to support effective delivery as well as identifying and implementing improvements to current systems and processes.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as Transport Scotland and across the teams of Sustrans Scotland including Central Planning Performance and Governance, and the Research and Monitoring Unit

About you
You should have a proven track record of designing and implementing project management processes as well as experience of working across organisations in a programme setting. You will also have a proven track record in managing risks and issues.
You will strong communication skills, analytical skills, and the willingness to learn and use project management tools such as Smartsheets
We ask you demonstrate your knowledge of best practice project/programme management.
