SalaryYour new companyIs a large central government organisation who are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to join the small but busy team for 6 months with the possibility of extension. Your new roleMy client is looking for a Project Support Officer to join the design team. As a PSO, you will be responsible for supporting the team in organising meetings and planning. You will be the second PSO in the team and will be part of a wider programme. Your role will involve ensuring that the project is delivered within the project structure and governance guidelines. You will need to have a flexible approach and government experience to be successful in this role. This role will be based on site for 3 days per week at the most local office to your home location.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in organising meetings and planning.
- Ensure that the project is delivered within the project structure and governance guidelines.
- Respond to movement and changes in the project.
- Provide support for the wider programme.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
- Have government experience.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in supporting projects.
- Experience in central government.
- Planning experience is important.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
