Project Support Officer (Timetabling)
In striving to meet Cardiff’s position as ‘an educationally outstanding and consistently high-quality student experience’, Cardiff University is undertaking a systematic project in Timetabling Service journey.
This is a 1 year project of timetabling service enhancement and to support this we are seeking to appoint a Project Support Officer.
Led by the Academic Registrar the overarching objectives of the portfolio are to lead and steer change by:
Working in partnership with students and staff in shaping and delivering the project
Increasing capacity in Schools where possible to ensure sustainable and meaningful engagement with the projects
Focusing on supporting change in assessment practice
Ensuring that sponsorship, support and champions are actively promoting the portfolio within the academic community and other key stakeholder groups.
Working in support of Business Leads and Academic Partners, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for the successful planning, scheduling, monitoring and control, and closure of specific projects within the Portfolio,
The assignment may vary over time, and the role holder may be required to support other allocated projects should the need arise.
This post is full time and fixed term until 30 May 2025.
Salary: £32,332 - £34,980 per annum (Grade 5)
