Key Responsibilities as a Project Surveyor:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in various facets of project management. Your responsibilities as a Project Surveyor will include:
- Production of meticulous budgets
- Strategic procurement and tendering
- Efficient management of resources, utilities, and consultants
- Preparation and processing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Facilitation of project review meetings
- Evaluation of project and budget progress, implementing corrective measures where necessary
What You will need:
- Degree qualification in building or quantity surveying
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Building is desirable
- Minimum 5 years proven experience
- Organisational ability
- Experience of cost reporting procedures, CVR
- Knowledge and user of a construction database, Sitestream, EQUE2 Housebuilding
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Sound judgement
- Analytical skills
- Detail-oriented, problem solver
- Comfortable working under pressure and with competing demands
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction terminology
