We’re looking for an enthusiastic Project /Account Manager with a passion for marketing. This role sits at the heart of everything we do for our clients, and helps to deliver results driven marketing campaigns based on our client’s business objectives. At TMP you’ll be busy straight from the off, developing an excellent understanding of our clients’ objectives, and ensuring campaigns with a wow factor are delivered consistently to brief. You’ll manage projects so they are delivered on budget, on time, guiding the team and our clients through the delivery. 

What you will do: 

Client management  

  • Regular communication to provide real-time updates on day-to-day activities.  
  • Lead status meetings, providing reporting including updates on the work, timelines and budgets, highlighting any blockers or risks. 
  • Participate in briefings, capturing client requirements and reporting needs.  
  • Capture feedback, distribute and follow up on action points.   
  • Build your relationships with clients through responsiveness, clear communication and by managing expectations.  

 

Programme management  

  • Liaise with team members to understand roles and responsibilities, processes, and delivery tasks.  
  • Create supporting project plans and resource plans. 
  • Work with our traffic manager to resource and schedule team members.   
  • Write production briefs and facilitate kick off meetings. 
  • Drive teams through the delivery of the work, co-ordinating schedules, organising meetings and providing clear actions and deadlines.   
  • Find solutions to resolve blockers or challenges to the successful delivery of the work. 
  • Review and critically appraise work to ensure that it meets the brief and is ready to share with the client.  

 

Commercial management  

  • Create estimates, quotes and statements of work.  
  • Own project finance admin – such as raising purchase orders and invoices and updating and maintaining accurate forecast data.   
  • Track and report on time, cost and overall budget spend and profitability of your projects.  

 

Marketing strategy  

  • Take an interest in your client’s business, industry and the work, sharing relevant account information across your team.  
  • Understand programme/ campaign performance and liaise with your team to provide recommendations to optimise activity and/or improve the quality of outcomes.  

Business development  

  • Identify opportunities for TMP to extend its scope of work within existing projects.  
  • Provide project management support to new business activities in the team. 

Requirements

Who you are: 

  • Someone who is approachable. 
  • Positive, resilient attitude and proactive in all things. 
  • Effective communicator (both verbal and written). 
  • Pragmatic, with a logical approach to work. 
  • Active listener, curious and ready to ask questions to find out what you need to know. 
  • Ready to provide your own ideas and point of view. 
  • Excels in time management – able to prioritise your own workload and manage multiple projects/clients at any one time. 

 

What you will need: 

  • Agency side experience. 
  • Some understanding of different types of marketing campaigns.  
  • Experience of managing some cross-discipline teams (for example - strategy, creative, technology, media). 
  • Some B2B marketing experience preferred, but not essential.  
  • Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
