Your role at Orbit.

Interviews will be held in person in our Stratford-Upon-Avon offices on the 8th February 2024

Role available to support our busy Property Management and Estates team. The team work in an agile manner, so this will be a mix of office and home-based work. You will interact with internal and external teams across our portfolio, so strong communication and interpersonal skills will be key.

You will be supporting a proactive busy team to deliver key operations to customers. This role will be varied and involve working at pace. Examples of work will be tasks such as collating data on internal and external contractors, working with management team to collate and process invoices, you will deal with customer queries to resolve service issues and escalate accordingly.
You will be monitoring compliance on key contracts and following Orbit policy to ensure our Property Management and Estates team can deliver excellent service.
What will help you make a difference.

  • Experience in coordinating estate related functions in Social Housing or multi-disciplinary environments
  • A solid understanding of the Microsoft Office packages
  • The ability to accurately assign a task or follow through to resolution
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Financial awareness and accuracy of relevant data sets including service charge apportionment etc.
  • Good telephone manner, demonstrating good etiquette to and empathy for the customer
  • Experience of working under KPI related pressure and delivering quality work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of carrying out coordination and reporting functions
  • Good understanding of the challenges that estates related functions bring and a problem- solving attitude to address process and performance related problems.
