Job Description:
The Property Block Manager will be instrumental in developing and managing our block management services. This role is not just about maintaining standards but about setting them, offering an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact within the company and the wider industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership in Block Management: Establish and lead the new block management department, setting high standards for property maintenance, tenant satisfaction, and financial performance. Strategic Development: Play a key role in the strategic planning and expansion of block management services, identifying new opportunities and driving growth. Property Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure properties meet the highest standards. Tenant Relations: Act as the primary contact for tenants, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Liaison with Maintenance Department: Work closely with the Maintenance Department to oversee maintenance and repair work, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Financial and Lease Management: Manage budgets, oversee rent and service charge collection, and handle lease administration. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and legal requirements. Provide comprehensive reports to management on department performance. Requirements:
Proven experience in property management or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in block management. Strong understanding of property management and maintenance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong organisational and skills. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
