SalaryPertemps are working in partnership with a leading nationwide claims provider, looking for an experienced Large Loss Claims Handler to join their dynamic property team. This is a fully remote based role with regular travel to Hampshire-based accounts.
The Role:
- Manage a portfolio of Hampshire-based accounts, attending policy holder sites to assess damage, negotiate settlements and provide support throughout the process
- Source and arrange alternative accommodation when necessary, ensuring the needs of the policyholders are met
- Manage and approve policyholder payments in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a claims handling role, with a specific focus on property/commercial claims
- Experience managing claims at a value of £30k+
- High understand of insurance/indemnity policies and legal structures
- Proven capability of claims negotiation with policyholders and Loss Adjusters
- Must possess a full clean driving licence
- Fully remote following 2-week induction at HQ in Tonbridge (expenses / accommodation covered)
- Salary up to £45,000pa
