The role – Property Compliance Support Officer
As Property Compliance Support Officer you will support the Contracts Managers in delivering a high-quality compliance service to our organisation.
What you’ll do
You will
- be responsible for ensuring that contracts are well managed, and that service contract information is recorded and updated in Origin’s in house systems.
- monitor the forecasting and reporting of the department’s budget and expenditure.
- Manage remedial actions and ensure completions within given timescales
- Raise repairs and follow though, keeping the customer informed
- provide data reports as required by legislation and regulation, so that we can demonstrate our compliance in our statutory returns and provide assurance to our residents, Executive & Board.
- Distribute report information to internal partners providing assurance that our residents are kept safe within their homes and mitigating the risk of any legal challenge to Origin Housing.
- Validate certification supplied by contractors prior to uploading into the Keystone Asset Management System.
What you’ll need
We’re looking for someone who:
- is a committed and focused administrator
- has experience of Social Housing, Property Management or Property Maintenance or similar industry.
- has a high degree of initiative, judgement, accuracy, and diligence.
- is a practical, thinker and doer and you can plan and prioritise work, and adapt to change, when necessary.
- has great communication skills and puts customer satisfaction and safety at the heart of everything you do and will be able to handle complaints in a timely and well-rounded manner ensuring there is a full conclusion and that customers are happy with the overall outcome
- can demonstrate experience of setting up and maintaining successful relationships with suppliers and monitoring contractor performance
- has proficient IT skills and use of MS packages and a level of technical administration skills
- can demonstrate experience of supporting Compliance within a property management context such as Fire, Electrical Asbestos, and other Mechanical engineering areas.
