The role:
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Lawyer (Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) to join our in-house legal department (currently a team of ten) and play an essential part in our property projects.
You will report to the non-contentious Principal Lawyer and have the opportunity to work with our Senior Property Lawyer on a range of interesting, high profile and rewarding projects, as well as maintaining your own case load, and the potential to explore other areas of law depending on work demands.
The position of Property Lawyer will suit a legal professional with a strong understanding and knowledge of commercial property law and will equally suit individuals with either a public or private sector background, as training and ongoing support will be provided.
What we are looking for:
• Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives;
• Adaptable and highly organised to manage projects;
• Strong knowledge of commercial property law;
• A competent IT user, team player and confident managing a wide case load;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
