Property Manager – York – Up to £22,000
New role to join a business who deal with most aspects of commercial property and over the years have acted for and continues to act for a large number of clients.
Located close by to York train station, the firm is easily commutable and provides lots of local amenities, such as shops and restaurants to enjoy on your lunch break.
This is an interesting and varied role and ideal if you are highly organised and have excellent time management skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Day to day property and facilities management
- Ensuring that the Fire, Health & Safety and EPC compliance relating to the managed sites is kept up to date
- Maintaining internal compliance database
- Ensuring that compliance renewals are actioned and followed up
- Responding to client/tenant/contractor emails
- Arranging repairs and maintenance, quotes and issuing works orders
- Sourcing new contractors
- Liaising with utility companies regarding changes, submitting meter readings and dealing with queried bills
What you will have
- Previous experience working within property management, either residential or commercial
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the health and safety regulations around property lettings
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
