Prophet Model Actuary

Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for Prophet Model Actuaryfor a 6 Month contract based in Bristol. This is a Hybrid role which requires at least 2 days to Bristol office.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Working with product owner and customer to understand requirements.
• Look at potential options- design phase.
• Setting out different options, presenting at forum
• Do the code changes.
• Test the changes.
• Come up with test cases, make sure people are comfortable with the breadth of testing.
• Document it, get everyone on board that the model is doing the right thing.

What we require from the candidate:

• Qualified Actuary or qualified by experience in Actuary.
• Prophet modelling experience is essential -good several years doing complex developments. Understand structure of the code and know how to implement new features. Demonstrating the complexity of things.
• Good Communication skills and stakeholder management.
